1. Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Early Childhood Pedagogies
The logo is a child’s hand, crafted from diverse elements to symbolise unity and belonging. Each finger and palm features unique strokes, shapes, and patterns representing different cultures and languages, forming a comforting smile. This inclusive design reflects the commitment to engaging children from various backgrounds through "superdiversity" pedagogy.
2. Improving Teacher Induction
The logo captures the journey from a precarious teaching career to a stable one, with flipping pages representing continuous growth and development. Gradient colours and curved shapes highlight this transition while overlapping areas symbolise adaptation and connection. The harmonious colour palette, featuring high contrast between purple-blue and red-pink, emphasises support for teachers in building sustainable careers.
